Why not write "eye contact" in full words? How is it a warning when not everyone can understand it? It also makes it extra hard to create useful content filters.

@Takiro thank you for the feedback! I have updated it to full words for clarity. The abbreviation is commonly used like MH for mental health, pol for politics etc. but appreciate your candour! I didn’t need to abbreviate here and thanks for pointing out the ambiguity, but since the content warning is also part of the character count, when most of the post uses up this and I have multiple content warnings, I will use these abbreviations as opposed to not having any content warning. Thanks!

I understand the thing with the character limit and I'm frustrated that the content warning counts to it. I read that this wasn't the case in earlier versions of Mastodon but was abused to circumvent the character limit of posts so they changed it, sadly.
