I know I joke about it a lot but MY GOD it's painful to use "normal Linux"

Me: I want to use DNSMASq

Ubuntu: Fuck you systemd-resolved listens on all interfaces by default

Me: I want a browser then?

Ubuntu: SNAP. SNAP. SNAP!

@CursedSilicon I like my OS to do sensible decisions for me like what Linux Mint does. Ubuntu is like "So, we are Corp now, but corps do shit. So we do shit. How can we make the user experience more horrible on Linux."

@NafiTheBear Uuuugh I don't want to learn to wrestle *yet another* distro though

@CursedSilicon that is why I moved to Pop!_OS from Ubuntu so I didn't had to relearn so much. I also reeaaally hope that they will eventually do the move like Linux Mint and make a Debian based version.

@NafiTheBear I'd just use Gentoo but doing that *in a VM* on a laptop is a great way to melt the laptop
